Intelli-Hire
INTELLI-HIRE is our corporate recruiting and hiring process. We use this with each position we are presented with and each candidate we meet. Currently our database of screened candidates consists of over 12,000 local and regional technical candidates. INTELLI-HIRE is the culmination of over 21 years of experience in the technical recruiting industry.
When we receive an opportunity the following
INTELLI-HIRE steps are taken:
Job Definition: A member of the Udig team communicates with the client’s hiring manager about the opportunity in order to understand the job’s requirements, the office’s culture and any other important information. The job is then presented to our recruitment staff.
Recruiting: Our recruitment staff has several strategies at their disposal when searching to find the right candidate for the position: run a search of our INTELLI-HIRE database, refer to our active candidate list or search online.
We have each of our candidates go through our recruitment process outlined below before we present them. Because of this, our time to hire can be greatly reduced, giving our client the opportunity to get a fully screened, highly qualified candidate in a matter of hours!
Submittal: Our recruitment staff will get permission to submit the candidate’s information. We present the client with our Udig Technologies Candidate Summary which includes:
- A bulleted overview of the candidate’s relevant skills
- A years of experience summary with pertinent skills
- Why the candidate is job searching
- Our Technical Testing Summary
- The candidate’s location, certifications and availability
- Rate/Salary information
- A Microsoft Word version of the candidate’s resume
Offer: If the client is interested, Udig Technologies will handle all necessary paperwork.
Ongoing Services: We take great pride in the fact that our services don’t end once we place a candidate. In fact, it’s the opposite. We have a dedicated staff that stays involved with our candidates – our testimonials speak for themselves.
All our candidates go through our INTELLI-HIRE process which consists of the following:
Screening Call: Our recruitment staff contacts all candidates to determine:
- Work History
- Skills
- Salary history
- Current work status including other opportunities the candidate is pursuing
- How soon the candidate is available to interview and start
- Openness to travel
- Status to work in the U.S.
In-person Interview: Following the Screening Call each applicant within a 50-mile radius of our office has a personal interview with a senior-level recruiter and technical architect. During this interview, we assess:
- Work history and success stories
- Personality
- Interview style
- Overall attitude, motivation and behavior
- Likes and dislikes
- Hobbies and interests outside of work
(In the event a candidate lives outside the 50-mile radius of our office and is unable to be interviewed in person, Udig Technologies will conduct a detailed phone or teleconference interview.)
Skills Assessment: In order to make certain that our candidates have the skills necessary for a position, we have a senior-level technical architect talk with each candidate and/or have each candidate take a web-based skills test, the results of which are kept on file to be shared if the candidate’s information is submitted for a position.
Reference Checks: We check up to three references on each candidate to determine how previous managers and peers view the candidate and their work.
