Richmond, VA – September 18 – UDig, a leading technology consulting company, is excited to announce the promotion of Hugh Dillon to the role of Strategy Practice Lead. Hugh, who has been with UDig since March 2021, brings a wealth of experience in consulting, design, and strategy to his new leadership position.
Hugh’s journey in consulting began in software design, where he cultivated a deep understanding of design principles and their connection to successful business outcomes. Over the years, he naturally gravitated toward strategic principles, focusing on how aligning design with company strategy can create a lasting impact for clients. “Design succeeds best when it aligns with the company’s strategy,” said Hugh.
As Strategy Practice Lead, Hugh will oversee the development of UDig’s strategic offerings, ensuring that the work UDig delivers for clients solves immediate problems and ties into long-term business objectives, accelerating their impact. With over a decade of experience working on IT projects, Hugh has seen firsthand what accelerates success. “Most projects that succeed are built on a solid impact focus. When a strategy for impact starts strong, everything else falls into place,” he shared.
UDig’s EVP of Consulting Practices expressed his confidence in Hugh’s leadership. “Hugh has been instrumental in building our design team and has an incredible ability to connect strategy with execution. His approach to driving business impact for clients through strategic alignment will further strengthen our consulting capabilities. We’re excited to see our Strategy Practice thrive under his guidance.”
