Fortune 500 automotive sales industry innovator desired a specialty mobile application for internal use to increase efficiency with aggressive Return On Investment (ROI) targets. Existing infrastructure was unable to scale and support new applications, including challenges adapting existing interface design practices for mobile applications.
The client’s mobile purchasing team provided challenging requirements, including handling intermittent network coverage on mobile devices and support for a wide range of devices, while achieving ROI targets and delivering core business functionality.
UDig created a streamlined internal mobile application for use by the organization’s internal buying team while also implementing going forward mobile best practices for the department. UDig was able to overcome aging service infrastructure by introducing modern web technologies exposing critical functionality for the project as well as for upcoming initiatives.
